Never mind the catwalk, you’ll find the real style stars on the streets. For some serious sartorial inspiration you don’t require a fashion week ticket but merely need to look to the well-dressed crowd who hang round the hub of LFW – a.k.a the very glam location that is Brewer Street car park.
Over the weekend the LOOK team headed down to Soho and chatted to some lovely ladies with superior style game. Talking us through their trendsetting get-ups we were excited to hear that many were working head to toe high street - hooray!
Trends we noticed included cropped flares, snakeskin boots and suede outwear. The seventies trend doesn’t appear to be going anywhere fast...
And as this was freezing cold February, girls we chatted to were keeping warm in faux fur jackets, fedora hats and sparkly socks.
When it came to accessories it was all about practicality. Boxy backpacks and cute cross over bags were two trends that featured heavily. After all, running between shows all day with just a clutch is problematic!
