Being the leggy blonde beauty she is, it comes as no surprise that Taylor Swift is subject to a lot of male attention. But apparently it’s not always the good kind.
Yep, it all comes back to a meet-and-greet before a concert in 2013, at which Taylor Swift accused Denver radio host David Mueller of inappropriately groping her.
Since, Mr Muller sued Swift, saying he was falsely accused by a member of her security of grabbing the singer’s buttocks during the photo session at the Pepsi Center on June 2nd 2013, causing him to lose his job at KYGO radio two days later.
But Swifty isn’t about to back down anytime soon.
On Wednesday, the songstress filed a counterclaim against Mr Mueller, disputing his argument that it was actually one of his superiors at the radio station that had committed the assault.
“Mueller’s newfound claim that he is the ‘wrong guy’ and, therefore, his termination from KYGO was unjustified, is specious,” Swift’s attorneys wrote in the counterclaim. “Ms Swift knows exactly who committed the assault, it was Muller.”
On top of all that, the court documents described Tay Tay as “surprised, upset, offended and alarmed” when Mueller inappropriately touched her.
Without going into too much detail, Swift’s attorneys added that said ‘inappropriate touching’ didn’t just involve brushing up against Taylor, but David “intentionally reaching under her skirt, and groping with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission”.
But, considering Miss Swift’s recent announcement as the highest-earning artist in the world, you’ll be pleased to hear she has said that any money received from the lawsuit will be donated to charities “dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard.” You go, Tay!
