Meet Spring’s Most Unexpected Shoe Hit – Kendall’s Got Hers

Since Stella McCartney launched her Oxford flatforms a few seasons back, they’ve become a bona fide fashion cult buy. Kendall Jenner and mega blogger Chiara Ferragni have been spotted in theirs multiple times, cementing them as way more than a one-season wonder. And it’s not just the fashion A-list loving them either – we clocked Stella’s shoes on show-goers left, right and centre at fashion month. No doubt something to do with that super comfy chunky sole.

In fact, it’s fair to say that Ms McCartney took the flatform trend to new heights. Literally. Now, the high street has come up trumps with a whole load of stompers at a fraction of the price of Stella’s £620 originals. Yep, as much as we love the star spangled beauties, we know it’s not at all wise to spend best part of our rent on a pair of shoes, no matter how practical/wearable/covetable they are. Soz Stella.

There’s everythin from classic black to chic oxblood and edgy metallics in our favourite shoe haunts right now. And while they might not seem like the most obvious spring/summer shoe, they look seriously good with girlie frocks and denim. Not to mention handily elongating your pins sans heel pain. Try packing a preppy punch by rocking a gold pair and ankle socks, or choose never-date black for a wear-everywhere addition to your shoedrobe. Whatever you do, the only thing staying grounded with these beauts is your style (soz).
