It’s come to be expected that Victoria Beckham’s show will be one of the highlights of New York Fashion Week. With her stunning designs, a Beckham-studded front row and her ever-so-perfect presence taking that final bow, it’s quickly becoming one of fashion’s favourite shows. This year, it was no different.
With the whole Beckham brood taking over the front row, it was a serious family affair. All kitted out in sharp monochrome tailoring, they made for a very sweet family portrait with little Harper sat on David’s knee taking in her mummy’s collection. Perched next to the one and only, Anna Wintour, who was sat with her own daughter Bee Schaffer – the family sure were in good company.
Victoria kept her Instagram fans updated on the whole event, posting fabulous snaps of models backstage, the family arriving and putting the finishing touches to the collection before they hit that catwalk.
Speaking of what came down that catwalk, this is what you need to know.
Famous for her chic pencil skirt and jumper combos, Vic put a whole new twist on her silhouettes. With rounded shoulders and feminine frills on chunky jumpers, swooshy skirts and asymmetric hems, the collection was ah-mazing and seemed to be totally inkeeping with Victoria Beckham’s personal style. Feminine, relaxed and not overtly sexual, we think it’s one of the most wearable collections we have seen yet. Not only would we die to wear the designs but we have a feeling that plenty of celebs will be kitted out in VB autumn/winter 2015 in no time.
