Kim Kardashian has opened up about her hair and make-up regime to Into The Gloss. And there are some real surprises in there…
First up, her hair. We’re used to seeing the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s perfectly preened locks, either up in a slicked-back ponytail or down in loose waves. And her new tousled bob has been looking chicer than ever.
But it turns out, it’s a lot more low maintenance than it looks.
‘For my hair, I don’t wash it every day’, she revealed. ‘We start out with a blowout on day one, then we go into a messier vibe the next day, and then we flat iron it and do a really sleek look on day three since that requires a little oil in the hair.
‘Day four could be a slicked-back ponytail, and on the fifth day is when you wash it. That’s a little excessive, maybe. [Laughs].’ One hairwash every five days? If it looks that good, we need to get on this!
Now onto her consistently flawless make-up. ‘Different makeup artists make you look totally different’, Kim said. ‘Mario [Dedivanovic] makes me look the most ethnic. Joyce Bonelli makes me look the most glam. This one makeup artist, Rob Scheppy, makes me feel in-between glam and myself. He does me really tan—I can’t explain it. [Laughs] Everyone has a style, and I like the different vibes.’
Kim then catalogued her daily make-up routine and the products she uses, which rounded up to a whopping £1,275, according to Into The Gloss.

While it’s full of the predictable £400 Guerlain Orchidée Impériale Rich Cream and £750 at-home LED light therapy machine (seriously), we’re pleased to report there were also some cheapies on there too.
Kim listed her Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes and her Kardashian Beauty Endless Summer Matte Bronzer among her more affordable make-up must-haves, as well as her Joe Blasco Foundation, which had a super sweet story behind it.
‘My dad got me makeup classes for Christmas when I was like 14 at some Joe Blasco makeup school, and I’ve worn that foundation ever since’, she revealed. Aw. Sentimental as well as thrifty.
