Shailene Woodley Works Four Outfits In 24 Hours

Well, if we were Shailene Woodley and had a whole host of high-end designers throwing their clothes at us, we’d wear four outfits in one day too.

It’s safe to say that when it comes to fashion, we never know what’s coming next with the Insurgent actress. And that’s just the way we like it. And yesterday, Shailene blew us away with a series of totally different looks, all in the space of 24 hours.

First, the 23-year-old glided into the Late Show With David Letterman looking pretty as a picture in her beautiful teal and black  Mary Katrantzou frock, which featured delicate floral embroidery and an A-line midi skirt.

This exploding paisley look was a ladylike departure from her typical tomboy style, but how gorgeous? The look was finished off with a pair of black ankle-strap pumps for a touch of retro appeal.

Next, Shailene kept the same updo but slipped into a black floor-length Ralph Lauren Collection gown for the New York Insurgent premiere, which split all the way up the front and flashed plenty of thigh thanks to its racy side-split. Nice.

But it wasn’t all designer gowns for the US star yesterday – we also adored her off-duty rock chic vibes from earlier on, when she was spotted out and about working black slip-ons, black skinnies, a skull-adorned Sea Shepherd tee and a beaten leather jacket. Very K-Stew.

And for her last sartorial surprise, Shailene went completely off-piste and worked a preppy pleated grey skirt and grey top with tights, a blazer and shiny black brogues. Back-to-school done the grown-up way.

Woodley’s fast becoming our favourite star for keeping us guessing in the wardrobe department… And we hope she never stops.
