Rita Ora’s Origami Fringe Is All Kinds Of Clever

Rita Ora made her top knot do double duty over the weekend when she worked this seriously cool origami fringe to the Marchesa SS15 runway show at London’s Banqueting House.

Shimmering in a custom-made one shoulder Marchesa jumpsuit made out of blush draped chiffon, the 23-year-old I Will Never Let You Down singer joined Vogue editor Anna Wintour on the FROW to watch the LFW spectacular.

But we couldn’t take our eyes off that ‘fringe’!

At first glance, it seemed like Rita had switched up her ‘do once again to get edgy short bangs cut in. But oh no.

Thanks to her insanely talented hair guru Chris Appleton, the singer got to flaunt a choppy fringe without actually commiting to the snip. And even better, it’s something we can all try at home…

‘What you mean you can’t turn a knot into a fringe? @chrisappleton1 he can lol! #hometimeselfie’, Rita posted alongside an Instagram snap of her cool misleading ‘do.

Coined ‘origami hair’ because it looks like the Japanese art of paper folding, this nifty trick is one we’ll definitely be giving a go.

Simply pull your hair tight into a high top knot before combing the lengths forward over your forehead.

Et voila!
