So Rihanna Just Became A Talent Agent

As if Rihanna wasn’t busy enough, she just added another string to her bow. As well as her very own beauty line, a prestigious new role as the creative director of Puma, an upcoming movie role and a brand new album, Rihanna has now decided she can squeeze in the time to launch her very own beauty and styling agency.

Entitled Fr8me, the LA-based agency will represent hair stylists, manicurists, make-up artists and stylists which they will book for shoots, ad campaigns and red carpet appearances. The Hollywood Reporter states that the agency has been founded with managing partner Benoit Demouy.

It might seem a strange move for the superstar, but RiRi has explained why this is a very natural transition for her, “Hair, make-up, and styling play an important role in creativity. I am very involved with that part of my process, so this agency was an organic thing for me to do.”

When it comes to getting signed, Benoit explained:

“The industry’s changed so much – rates have gone down, and clients just grab images off social media, trying to bypass paying artists. But we’re concerned with social media, too – we’ll take a make-up artist with 500,000 followers over someone else.”

So if you want to come under RiRi’s reign, then you better amp up your social media following.
