When it comes to nailing gorgeous, super covetable fashion, everybody knows that the Scandinavians pretty much have things down pat.
We’re not sure whether it’s their achingly cool sense of street style or their commitment to bringing fabulous and cutting edge fashion to the UK market, but one thing’s for certain – we can’t get enough of it, and it seems the A-list can’t either.
Enter Baum und Pferdgarten, aka the label that bloggers, celebs, street stylers, (pretty much everyone in the know really), is going nuts for right now.
Founded in 1999 in Denmark by Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave, Baum und Pferdgarten has been simmering on the fash radar for a little while now. The label has won multiple awards and is available in more than 20 countries across the globe.
And the clothes? Think classic Scandinavian silhouettes with a quirky edge that are totally wooing the fash pack. Queen of casual cool Fearne Cotton snapped a selfie of herself wearing one of the label’s gorgeous jackets, while stylista Ellie Goulding stepped out recently wrapped up in a beautiful cobalt blue Baum und Pferdgarten overcoat. We’ve also spotted the lovely Laura Whitmore wearing some killer Baum und Pferdgarten separates. Designs can get a little spendy, but with pieces starting from around £40, there’s definitely a Baum und Pferdgarten buy for everyone.
And it doesn’t stop there. Top fashion insiders such as Cecilie Christiansen and Celine Aagaard are also fans. Oh, and Amber le Bon doesn’t seem to be wearing anything but Baum und Pferdgarten these days. Add to that a seriously dedicated street style following and it’s official, Baum is one major ‘It’ label.
