Tuesday’s fashion hot ticket was a seat at the Principles by Ben de Lisi launch show. Hitting Debenhams stores exclusively from mid-February, the collection sees iconic high street label Principles shot back into the limelight, with red carpet designer Ben de Lisi at the helm. When this hot new designer for high street collaboration hits, Principles will have been missing from the high street for 12 months, so we are mega pleased to see the Principles timeless-yet-modern style return.
More Madison Avenue than Oxford Street, Ben’s nautical stripes, prim trench coats and printed dresses are the new season credit crunch savoir - pop any of these pieces away for a season and they’ll still be hot little numbers a year later. Sizes range from 8-10 and from 6-18 in the Petites range, with prices starting at £10 for a bag, £20 for tops and £45 for dresses. - LW
