So apparently Prince George has got to that age where Christmas is the best thing in the world. His royal dad revealed in an interview with The Big Issue that George has got to that stage where he’s suddenly worked out what Christmas is all about – and that’s going to mean very little sleep for Wills and Kate.
The Prince spoke to Sophia Kichou, an aspiring journalist who met Prince William when she was homeless and was promised an interview with Wills to if she fulfilled her dreams of becoming a journalist. Chatting about Christmas plans, the prince revealed:
“George will be bouncing around like a rabbit. If I get any sleep on Christmas Eve, it’ll be good.” And if you ever wondered exactly how the royal clan will be spending the big day, Wills cleared that up for you:
“We’ll go to church as a family on Christmas Day, as we always do. Then we’ll watch George try to tackle his presents as he tries to unwrap them. It’s a very different experience at Christmas, having a family of your own.”
And what’s on his wish list? A little bit of snow of course.
“It’d be nice if we got a white Christmas because we haven’t had one in many years.”
While little sis Charlotte might be too young to appreciate what a royal Christmas is all about, it sounds like George is going to be excited enough for the both of them.
And he’s not the only famous tot who has finally wrapped their head around the festive holiday. Hollywood hearthrob, Ryan Gosling opened up to Hello magazine this weekend about how excited he and wife Eva Mendes are for December 25th.

“This will be our first Christmas where [Esmeralda] is sort of taking it all in, so that’s exciting.”
