Primark is celebrating October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month once again by joining forces with medical research charity Breast Cancer Campaign for their Wear It Pink fundraiser taking place on 25 October.
The high-street haunt has designed a capsule collection of pretty pink clothes, accessories and homewares starting at just one pound, with 20% of all sales going to Breast Cancer Campaign’s research. We’re lusting after the on-trend pink sneakers and the football-jersey style tee. We just love shopping for a cause!
Annabel Tompkins from Breast Cancer Campaign says: “One in eight women will face their own battle against breast cancer in their lifetime. That’s why we need you to be a hero this October, purchase our Wear It Pink merchandise, and raise funds for research that saves lives.”
The Wear It Pink fundraiser takes place this Friday and anyone can (and should) get involved. The idea is you and your chums wear a pinktastic outfit to work, paying a just few quid to get in on the act, and all the money will go straight into life-saving research and funding by the charity.
