Primark is officially gearing up for world domination, with the high-street hero now set to open its first ever store in America.
The brand’s purse-friendly wares are going Stateside in 2015, with a 70,000 square-foot store opening in in Boston late next year. Eek! If we were those East-coasters, we’d be doing cartwheels right about now.
‘After extensive research, it has been decided to take the concept to consumers in the USA,’ Associated British Foods, which owns Primark, said in a statement yesterday.
If the fast fashion pieces prove popular in the US (which is inevitable), the British chain will then open more shops in the North East by mid-2016.
Even more excuse to book a holiday to the States next summer, then… Hello, mega shopping opps!
