Festival season is go! And it was kicked off in style with London’s Camden Crawl this weekend. Electro-pop Stockholm duo Niki And The Dove brought their Kate Bush-esque love songs to the bash, starting the summer with a bang (despite the rain!). The ones to watch played KOKO on the XFM stage with super-cute lead lady Malin Dahlstrom bringing her unique sense of vintage style to the weekend. Malin looked fab in high-waisted harem trousers and a pink vintage top while performing hit singles The Fox, DJ, Ease My Mind and Tomorrow – we love her look!
Earlier in the weekend, The Futureheads headlined the Saturday night with a completely a ccapella set and vintage-stylisters Veronica Falls dazzled on the Rough Trade stage. Meanwhile, music fans and fashionistas learnt how to swing dance, played rock ‘n’ roll bingo and shopped at the festival’s record fair – what more could you need for a rainy May bank holiday weekend? Joining Niki And The Dove on the Sunday line-up, Scottish rockers Glasvegas and Wakefield’s The Cribs closed the weekend with hundreds of people packing out KOKO to see them, what a start to festival season!
