Must-See! Vivienne Westwood Shoes Exhibition
Any shoe lovers in London this week should head straight to Selfridges to check out their amazing new showcase, Vivienne Westwood Shoes: An Exhibition - 1973-2010. Opening on Thursday 26 July in the Ultralounge, it celebrates the creativity of the iconic British designer by focusing on what she considers to be the ultimate fetish object: the shoe. Featuring almost 200 pairs from the Westwood archive, including the cult Pirate Boots from 1981 and the towering blue croc platforms Naomi Campbell famously fell in on the catwalk in 1993, the exhibition also explores her inspiration and influences.
