The Saturday’s Mollie King has been named the host of the next British Heart Foundation Ball, set to be held in February 2015 at the Park Lane Hotel in London.
It was a real treat for us to receive these beautiful campaign shots on our desks this morning – hot off the press! And hot is certainly not an understatement. From her photoshoot with renowned fashion photographer Rankin, the blonde bombshell looks incredible in a flowing Maroon gown and matching statement lip. Boasting a slender figure, the songstress wow-ed in her bid to shed light on the charity’s latest campaign, by paying homeage to the BHF’s very own branding and red colourscheme.
Mollie is no stranger to the charity, having faced their campaign for the last two years. Earlier this year, the English beauty donated a whopping £100,000 to the BHF – winnings from her time competing on ITV gameshow The Cube.
Mixing it up with a different look, Mollie ditched the red theme for a more tailored monochrome look in a sophisticated yet feminine tuxedo – the perfect feel for the ball she is promoting.
The star reveals that she has personal reasons for supporting the charity so heartedly: ‘I’m honoured to be hosting the Roll out the Red Ball in aid of the British Heart Foundation. It is such a fantastic charity which is very close to my heart. My grandfather sadly died of heart disease. The BHF has already made vital discoveries in the prevention and treatment of heart and circulatory conditions but there is still so much work to be done.’
The Roll Out The Red Ball will have a star-studded guest list, along with host Mollie, and some special comedy entertainment (we are intrigued!). Tickets can be purchased from the charity website, or alternatively donations can be made here.
