Milan Fashion Week’s Final Flourish

Milan Fashion Week

has finished for another season, with Giorgio Armani’s AW14 collection acting as the finale. Following the trend for mannish tailoring seen at Prada earlier in the week, Armani showed smart grey blazers with relaxed, loose trousers and neat shift dresses cut just above the knee.

There was a nod to sports luxe in the stripes decorating the sides of trousers, while the pale green silk skirts and long, beaded evening gowns made everything feel fluid and feminine.

And just in case you missed them, Armani reinforced some of the major trends we’ve spotted on the Milan catwalks over the past week with shaggy coats, furry handbags and an injection of animal print.

The fash pack are hotfooting it to Paris as we speak for the final fashion week, and we can’t wait to see what the likes of Chanel, Dior and Valentino will have in store for us.

Ciao, Milan!
