Well this is a new look for Michelle Keegan!
When we first saw these snaps of the 28-year-old actress working her flapper girl glam, we were wondering how on earth we missed the fact that she’d nabbed a spot on Downton Abbey.
Michelle had undergone a total makeover to embracing the roaring 1920s, working a beautiful red beaded calf-length frock with a loose-fit shape and dainty silver embroidery.
Adding long silky gloves, layered gold necklaces and a pretty headband, Michelle also traded her signature long, barrel waves for a cute crimped bob. Short hair suits you, lady!
So what is behind the former Coronation Street star’s sudden transformation?
Well, Keegan is actually taking part in this year’s Text Santa fundraiser, which sees her joining a whole array of famous faces for a special bit of Downton action.
We’ve no word yet on what kind of character Michelle will be playing, but we’re picturing some kind of sassy retro sexpot who has all of the Downton men running circles around each other..
Also appearing in the one-off charity sketch will be Bruce Forsyth, Gok Wan, Warwick Davis and Gordon Ramsay, and it’s set to air on ITV on December 18th.
