Meet The A-List Red Carpet Clutch Crush We Love

When Whitney Port, Sienna Miller and Man Repeller’s Leandra Medine all make the same sartorial investment, you know it’s a trend worth trying. Particularly when the investment is a clutch bag that has also been spotted on the ultimate accessories maven, Olivia Palermo. Say hello to the hottest new handbags on the block, designed by Beirut-born Nathalie Trad, the woman responsible for those geometric clutches you may have spied on your fave celeb recently.

Instantly recogniseable, Nathalie’s creations are inspired by her time spent in two of the world’s fashion capitals- New York and Paris- and focus on asymmetric designs, chiseled shell clutches and geometric patterns. We’re talking incredible, carved clutch bags made to resemble jagged crystals, zig-zag prints and bold colours. Whitney Port and her former The City co-star, Olivia, have both added Nathalie’s designs to their fashion week accessory arsenal, and they’ve even been spotted on the likes of Cressida Bonas and British actress Tamsin Egerton.

In fact, it seems that these luxe pieces of arm candy are the fashion insiders’ best kept secret; that is, until now. While we’re slightly obsessed with Nathalie’s eponymous line, her bags fetch up to over £1000, depending on the style, shape and size. Fear not, however, as we’ve made it our mission to hunt down the best tributes on the high street, to help you all carry a coveted clutch.

Fortunately for us all, a few of these beauties are even in the sale. Biba’s art deco-style box has been reduced to £49, while Boohoo’s (a deadringer for a Trad masterpiece) is only £14. Sounds like a no-brainer to us. French Connection and John Lewis also have structured shapes to channel our favourite trendsetters.

Better get clicking, though. With A-list endorsement such as this, these high street doppelgangers won’t hang around for long. Not if we get our hands on them, anyway!
