Meet The 2015 Victoria’s Secret Show Performers

The most famous lingerie show on earth has just announced which artists will perform at the event.

That’s right, on December 8th, none other than Rihanna, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd will join the model army on stage at the much-coveted Victoria’s Secret show.

Now if that’s not a good line up, we don’t know what is.

Back in 2012, Rihanna performed at the show clad in little more than a silk gown, while this will mark a first for Selena Gomez and The Weeknd.

Either way, if previous years are anything to go by, the event is set to be one we won’t forget.

The new Victoria's Secret recruits! The new Victoria’s Secret recruits!

As well as original Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge, VS have granted prestigious wing status to 10 new girls, including the likes of Taylor Swift‘s bestie, a Brit model and a brown belt karate kid. All have walked in the show before making the cut for this serious promotion.

Many speculated that Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid might be making the grade but they have been left off the list this time around. However, as they have never walked in the show, it was highly unlikely they would be granted Angel status and this doesn’t mean we won’t see them walk this year.

Via their Instagram feed, the lingerie giant have announced the girls who will be replacing the likes of Doutzen Kroes and Karlie Kloss who hung up their wings this season. So here goes, meet the new ladies to be totally jealous of…

Victoria’s Secret 10 new recruits livened up the streets of New York earlier this year. The leggy crew were out promoting the brands new Body by Victoria range which includes the softest bras with smooth lace, and their most comfortable fit. Victoria’s Secret also introduces the new Lounge Collection, featuring two new styles–the Lounge Bra and Bralette.

The girls seemed to be having a great time giggling, blowing kisses and even posed for a sultry bum shot.

Wearing matching tight white skinnies and a tee, it’s not hard to see why these ladies are noted as some of the most beautiful women in the world.

We’re not usually ones for teaming our undies with converse but Miley Cyrus rumoured beau Stella Maxwell sure does pull it off.

What a bunch of bombshells, it’s not hard to see why they’ve earned their wings.

Victoria’s Secret could also be getting a new curvy addition – especially if Angels Elsa Hosk and Jac Jagaciak have anything to do with it. Speaking to the Daily Mail Jagaciak said: “I think the whole world is more open to plus-size [models] and I am sure at some point they will be ready for it.”

Fellow newbie Elsa Hosk added, “We don’t know,” in response to the question of a plus-size Angel one day joining the ranks, “I really hope so.”

The brand that is typically know for it’s supermodels being very leggy and slim, came under fire for  “body shaming” back in November for a promotional campaign labelled ‘The Perfect Body’. Swedish born Elsa insists the brand is keen to represent a variation of women in this statement referring to her fellow Angels; “We are from all over the world. We come from different backgrounds. We all had different lives before this, so it is really interesting how a lot of different nationalities are represented and it is super cool.”

Plus size model, Ashley Graham has already expressed her interest in gaining her wings. She told Miss Vogue’s April issue, “If those guys are listening, call me!” She certainly gets our vote!
