Not content with snapping up the likes of Willow Smith and the legendary Cher to front his autumn/winter 2015 campaign, Marc Jacobs has just unveiled Winona Ryder and newcomer Betty Lowe (sister of Daisy Lowe) as the latest additions to his ever-growing celeb roster.
Marc announced the news on Instagram saying: ‘Winona and I have been friends for over 15 years. She first appeared in our campaign in 2003. Here she is as beautiful and unique as ever photographed by David Sims in our Fall/Winter campaign.’ He added: ‘I love her wit, energy and besides being a great talent, she is a great friend!’
On newcomer Betty he had this to say: ‘@ocean_bubble
Earlier in the month we also revealed Red Hot Chilli Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis and his 7 year-old son, Everly Bear joined the campaign.
The label broke the news on Instagram exactly a week after unveiling Willow Smith’s shots with the caption: “Red Hot Chili Pepper, lead singer, co-songwriter, great father! Here is Anthony Kiedis and his son Everly Bear. Thanks guys for joining us in our Fall campaign. You’re both hot and cool as can be!! @chilipeppers.”
Also shot by famed photographer David Sims, Anthony appears shirtless wearing a brocade jacket from the new collection while Evelyn poses on his lap barefoot, wearing a khaki tee, black trousers and a baseball cap.
Modelling isn’t anything new for Willow Smith. The 14 year-old has previously bagged iconic shoots in V magazine and CR Fashion Book, and she’s even worked alongside the Godfather of fashion himself: Karl Lagerfeld. In her latest venture she looks cooler than ever, propped up against a stool in a doll-like manner sporting a waist-cinching number from MJ’s latest line.
