Made In Chelsea‘s Lucy Watson has quickly carved a name for herself as one of the most style-savvy ladies on the show. Which is why we couldn’t wait for her to spill all and share her top fashion tips.
After being captured on camera by fash snapper Joseph Sinclaire looking seriously smoking in a series of dancefloor-ready outfits for HOTHOT magazine’s September issue (nab any of Lucy’s outfits on the Hot Hot, website), the gorgeous Chelsea gal sat down to talk style, designers and celebrity icons.
Over to you, Luce!
In three words, how would you describe your style?
I guess it’s a little bit punky at the moment, a bit boho but it still has a girly edge to it.
You’re the new face of Lipsy’s AW14 VIP collection… Do you shop on the high street or do you prefer to buy designer labels?
I do both. I tend to buy my clothes from the high street – I love All Saints and Zara. When I buy handbags or investment pieces though, I get them from a designer.
What are your top tips for mixing the two together?
If it’s an investment piece like handbags or shoes, then it’s worth it to spend a bit more money. For me, clothes come and go through summer and winter so they don’t last as long as an investment piece.
What part of your figure do you like to enhance?
I’m a little bit curvier than people might think, so I like to nip in at the waist and accentuate that.
Who’s your fashion icon?
I love Mary Kate Olsen. She always looks like she just throws things together and she hasn’t really put much thought into it. I’m sure she has but she looks effortlessly chic.

You’ve recently returned to the UK after filming MIC NYC. What kinds of shenanigans can we expect to unfold in the city that never sleeps? Was there any romance for you?
That would be telling! I can’t disclose anything specific but I’m sure you will be seeing some romance. I’m not speaking specifically about me but there is definitely romance involved in the New York series. There’s a lot that goes on, it’s a different environment. There are new cast members, it’s great. It’s a really great series and it was very fun to film.
Made In Chelsea: New York hits E4 on Sunday 10th August.
