Louisa Johnson’s Column: ‘I Can’t Wait To Perform On The X Factor’

This week, Louisa Johnson's been stocking up on winter buys, getting ready to release her amazing new single, plus she's going to be back on The X Factor!

Hi Guys, How have you been? It’s been a while!

I’ve been really busy rehearsing and working on new material as well as promoting – as well as doing too much shopping!
I can’t believe winter is here already. It’s so cold that I’m wrapping up in jumper dresses. It’s my favourite travelling outfit as they’re so comfortable.

This week I also decided to stock up on some winter staples. I bought these amazing patent ankle boots from River Island, some of their mom jeans which I love and a gorgeous leather biker jacket from Zara. A total investment buy.

And even though I’ve already had a shopping binge, I’m keeping a close eye on HotMess clothing. It’s such a sick brand with such cool styles.

Beauty-wise at the moment I am realllllyyyy loving Kylie Jenner’s Kyshadows. Her new burgundy pallet is amazing and I love the choice of colours. I’ll definitely be buying more of her range.

I’ve also been gearing up for my return to The X Factor this Sunday. If I am honest it feels strange! It doesn’t feel real – everything’s happened so soon.

But I am so excited about going back to performing on the show.  I have been preparing for this for ages, I can’t wait to be back on the X Factor stage where it all began. I’m excited to see everyone again and I’ll just be telling all the contestants to enjoy the ride.

I’ll be performing my brand new single So Good on The X Factor (out 28th October) and I can’t wait for you to hear it. We shot the video in LA in the desert and the director was amazing – he’s worked with Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran and Rihanna. Its edgy, dark, and so different to what people may expect. But it’s honest – I hope you like it!

Have a great week and I’ll catch up with you soon!
