Louis Tomlinson has opened up about being a dad for the first time, and what he said was pretty adorable.
The One Direction singer was out at the BRIT Awards 2016 last night alongside Liam Payne, looking dapper in a grey suit and black shirt and showing little signs of baby fatigue.
Fellow 1D bandmates Harry Styles and Niall Horan were noticeably missing, which obviously sent Twitter into meltdown, but Louis soon re-focused fans’ attention back to his beautiful baby boy.
Speaking to ITV2 before the ceremony, the 24-year-old explained how he was coping with his new responsible role.
‘[Fatherhood] is good’, he told host Laura Whitmore. ‘It’s intense. It’s really exciting. This is my first time away from Freddie so it’s tough.’
Louis also joked that due to their absence, if 1D won any awards, he would SELL Harry’s and Niall’s. Teehee. ‘If we win who gets their awards, we could sell them’, he joked.
Since becoming a dad, Louis has been happy to share photos of his newborn, recently sharing a picture on Twitter of him bonding with llittle Freddie.
‘Meet my little lad, Freddie’, he captioned the image.
Louis first announced his son’s birth with a tweet, writing: ‘I’m pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday 🙂 He is healthy and pretty amazing 🙂 I’m very happy!!’
