Sister Jane’s Could-Be Gucci Blouses
Gucci’s geeky pussybow blouses jumped straight to the top of my lust list when they hit the catwalk in February, so you can imagine my excitement when Sister Jane’s chiffon shirts crossed my radar. From candy stripes to gold polka dots, there is something for everyone in this amazingly retro collection and I am totally sold. I’ll be wearing mine with sleek pencil skirts to work and my trusty denim flares off duty.

TU’s Victoriana Blouse
Every season, TU at Sainsbury’s create a piece that I just can’t believe isn’t designer. For AW15, it’s this red blouse. Nailing one of the biggest trends of the season – Victoriana – I love how it updates the usual white and black colour palette with a statement injection of scarlet. The details – that high neck, frilled collar and delicate lace – give it a real high-end feel, and it will work with all your wardrobe favourites, from skinny jeans to a sleek leather pencil skirt. Trust me, it’ll be the best £20 you’ll ever spend.
Boots For Any Budget At Topshop
If you haven’t invested in some winter boots already, I suggest you plan a trip to Topshop, pronto. The high street mecca has a major boot offering this season, and whether you’re in the mood for a splurge or want to snap up a bargain, I guarantee you’ll find a pair you’ll wear all winter. If your budget is under £50, it’s all about this £39 tortoishell pair. The low, block heel makes them super comfy and taps into the 60s, mod vibe and they come in black patent too. Thomas Sabo’s ‘Love Bridge’ Collection
Nothing beats a gorgeous piece of personalised jewellery and I have been getting my fix over at Thomas Sabo. Their recently-launched Love Bridge collection is inspired by the custom of attaching love locks to the most famous bridges in the world, like the Pont des Arts in Paris. With over 60 to choose from, there’s a bangle out there for every girl and with complimentary engraving thrown in, you’re going to want to get on board.
Liberty & Radley’s Hot New Collab
I’m a sucker for anything with a Liberty print, so when I heard that Radley London were teaming up with Liberty Arts Fabrics, I knew that some pretty amazing handbags were on the way – and I wasn’t wrong. The six-piece collection has now dropped online and it’s hard to pick a favourite. Featuring the ‘Strawberry Thief’ print designed by William Morris back in 1883, these totes are just what my autumn wardrobe needs to ensure I always have that extra special pop of print in my ensembles.

Hush’s ‘Lucky’ Jumper
It’s fair to say I’m sold on anything Hush; it’s a brand that always manages to deliver an easy, laid-back luxe that appeals to everyone- remember that sell-out parka from last year? Now though, I’m obsessed with its new slogan sweater, which goes on sale a the beginning of October to coincide with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This isn’t just an amazing staple buy, it will also let us all do our bit for charity with all the proceeds going to Breast Cancer Now. Boden’s Colourblock Bag
London Fashion Week is always such a busy time, I need to be super organised. When it comes to my outfits, I always need a good sized bag to carry all my essentials as I rush from show to show. This season, I’ve got a total crush on Boden’s two-tone furry arm candy, which is a total statement-maker. Roomy enough to carry all my show invites and fashion week must-haves, it also has a long strap so can be worn cross-body for those moments when you need to go hands free!

Grace & Oliver’s Investment Coats
Alice Colour Block Coat, £395, Grace & Oliver
Jasmine Waistcoat, £395, Grace & Oliver
Daphne Leopard Print Coat, £695, Grace & Oliver
When it comes to a good winter coat, it’s always worth spending a little extra on an investment buy that will last you for seasons to come, and my new discovery has plenty. Grace & Oliver was born after the designers struggled to find great quality coats without a ridiculous designer price tag, so decided to create their own. True, they’re definitely at the higher end of the price spectrum – starting at £395 – but materials sourced from Italy – where they work with top end mills and suppliers – fine tailoring and unique but wearable styles make them worth it. Topping my new season wish list are the colour block Alice coat, amazingly statement orange Jasmine waistcoat and super cute Daphne leopard print style. I could totally see Alexa Chung falling for that pink faux fur collar.
Mint Velvet’s Rioja Gilet
It’s always tricky putting together a wardrobe for the September Fashion Week shows – you never know whether you’re going to be dealing with an Indian summer or chilly downpours. That’s why I’ve snapped up Mint Velvet’s Mongolian Rioja gilet, £195, for LFW. It’ll work as well with my floaty boho dresses as over my trusty leather biker.
I’m always on the hunt for a cool new jewellery label to accessorise my outfits, and Rebecca is my new fave. I’ve been stocking up on the ‘Hollywood’ collection – oversized, statement pearls adorn directional rings, earrings and cuffs and I love the edgy mix of pewter, gold and rose gold.
Friday 4th September
TU at Sainsbury’s Online Launch
I’ve always been a fan of the Tu at Sainsbury’s range, so when I got wind that it would finally be available to shop online I could hardly contain myself. And just when I thought I couldn’t be any more excited, the Autumn/Winter lookbook landed in my inbox. Playing host to some seriously gorgeous paisley print pieces and a palette of rich orange and rust tones, the collection really does make for one of the best I’ve seen so far. My favourites have to be the brushed stripe wrap coat and pinstripe ponte trousers. There’s just 4 days to go until it lands in store and online.
High-Street Must-Have: H&M’s ‘It’ Skirt
H&M two-tone skirt, £39.99
When it comes to wardrobe essentials, you can always count on H&M to pull out all the stops – and this season is no exception. From glitzy gold trews to floral bell-sleeve dresses and oversized camel knits, their new collection has something for almost every occasion but the deal-breaker for me has to be their amazing two-tone skirt. Whether I’ll pair it with a chunky sweat or classic blouse I’m not sure yet, but either way I’m sure it’ll make for one serious statement-maker. And at just £39.99, I’m predicting a pretty short shelf-life.
Maya Magal’s Jewellery Collaboration With Amber Anderson
Maya Magal x Amber Anderson earrings, £84
If, like me, you’re big on jewellery, Maya Magal’s latest collab will have you counting down to payday like never before. The AA x MM collection features a number of flawless solid 18 carat yellow and white gold pieces, designed by the brains behind Maya Magal and model Amber Anderson. I can’t wait to get hold of the earrings when the range launches in Harvey Nichols at the end of the month. The best part? They’re only £84!
Lindex – My New Scandi Style Secret
I’m obsessed with Scandi-cool. A place that’s seriously ahead of the curve on the fashion front and nails the whole minimalist, effortless chic thing, it never fails to come up trumps with cool, offbeat labels. Lindex is my latest fave. It’s basically to the Scandi high street what Topshop, Zara etc is to ours, and autumn’s collection is amazing. The range ticks some major trend boxes – leather, 70s denim, prints – and is packed with timeless, wear-forever pieces. The camel overcoat and cream chunky knit are top of my new season wish list. Lindex’s current love-in with rich rust shades couldn’t be more on the money either, and there’s plenty of pieces to perfect a relaxed layered look. Oh, and did I mention prices start at just £10 for a t-shirt? Don’t blame me if you develop a serious shopping addiction…
French Sole’s Customisable Flats
French Sole has long been my go-to for chic, comfortable flats that work with any outfit – and I’m not alone. The label’s celeb fan base includes everyone from Kate Moss to Olivia Palermo and Taylor Swift, and it’s about so much more than ballet pumps. From brogues to skate shoes, French Sole has all flat bases covered, but it’s the Hefner slippers that are never off my feet. This season, they’ve given them a seriously nifty upgrade with interchangeable tassels. Yep, each pair comes with three sets of tassels so you can switch up as you wish. From classic black and cream to popping neons, it’s so fun to match them to your outfit, or your mood! And basically like getting three pairs of shoes for one, right?
Hefner slippers, £165, French Sole
High Street Must-Have: Primark’s Luxe Lace Blouse
Say hello to the bargain ‘It’ buy taking the fashion industry by storm. A major fave among the fashion ed’s at Primark’s autumn/winter press day preview, this pretty cream lace bow blouse nails the gothic Victoriana trend that is going to be huge this season. Right now I’m styling it with a tan suede skirt and metallic sandals, and will switch to knee-high boots when the weather gets cooler. All hail the high street hero piece of autumn.
Blouse, £18, Primark
