Last night saw H&M make their Paris Fashion Week debut, and LOOK were in prime FROW position for the high-street meets high-fashion spectacle. Staged at Paris’s grand Musée Rodin, catwalk heavyweights including Lindsey Wixon and Cara Delevingne showcased H&M’s hottest AW13 looks in a whole load of different rooms – everything from a kids’ playroom to a futuristic boudoir – in front of the likes of Chloe Moretz and Emma Roberts.
The high-street giant’s first foray into the catwalk world didn’t disappoint, with ’70s, suede knee-high boots, statement shaggy mohair jackets and thigh-flashing mini dresses among our favourites. Knitwear is key, especially in winter white. And we can’t wait to wear the oversized sweater dresses with bare legs and those boots.
After the catwalk finale, it was time for the fash pack to let their hair down. Cue a dancefloor filled with leggy models still sporting the H&M designs, enjoying a performance from French artist Owlle and an uh-mazing set from 2 Many DJs. You couldn’t get Pixie Geldof and co off it!
How about staging a Paris Fashion Week show every season, H&M? GG
