London Fashion Week – The Things We Can’t Wait For!

It’s the eve of London Fashion Week and the LOOK office is abuzz with last-minute preparations for hitting the FROW’s tomorrow – trust us, there is some seriously frantic outfit planning going on in the fashion cupboard right now! To celebrate the fashionable five days ahead, we thought we’d give you a little preview of what we’re most looking forward to this LFW.

Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest with #LookAtLFW and be sure to log on to Look.co.uk for daily updates straight from the fashion front line.

Nick Grimshaw’s Runway Debut

Yep, we did just say that. Naomi Campbell kicks off London Fashion Week with her hotly anticipated Fashion For Relief show tonight, and has enlisted celebrity pals including Grimmy and Jourdan Dunn to storm the runway in pieces donated from some of the biggest names in fashion including Dolce & Gabbana, Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. Previous A-list strutters include Kate Moss, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed that Naomi’s called in another favour from her long-time bestie. On top of the show, Ms Campbell is holding an auction of items previously belonging to the world’s biggest artists, brands and celebs to raise money for the Disaster Emergency Committee: Ebola Crisis Appeal. We’ve bagged a front row ticket, so be sure to check back for all the action from tonight’s show in the morning.

Our Fashion Week Super Wheels

Nothing brings on fashion week fatigue faster than running around the shows on foot (we’re talking 12-hour days minimum here guys) so we can’t wait to whiz around in the luxury of our very own Hyundai Santa Fe. The chic silver 4×4 has been emblazoned with LOOK’s fuschia logo especially for the shows, so if you spot us, be sure to give us a wave and share any snaps @lookmagazine #LookAtLFW.

Topshop’s Shoppable Catwalk

Always ahead of the curve on the digital front, Topshop will be bringing their LFW show to people who can’t get their hands on a ticket. They’ve teamed up with Twitter to identify key trends as they emerge on the social media network throughout the day – think #pleats, #colourblocking or #utility. Topshop will then take those trends and select current season product, before displaying them on public digital billboards throughout the country so you can shop next season’s trends now. Then, simply tweet @Topshop using one of the trend hashtags, and you’ll receive a curated shopping list inspired by the trend. Genius!

Getting Behind The Camera

Yep, as well as bringing you all the action from the shows on Look.co.uk, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, we’ll be creating super cool videos for you to watch. From the must-see street style looks to catching up with our fave LFW show-goer Millie Macintosh and telling you all about our high street outfits, stay tuned for them hitting Look.co.uk soon.
