When it comes to jewellery, Laura Whitmore’s collaboration with Daisy London is where it’s at – and it looks like the launch event on Tuesday was the place to be, too.
Held at West London’s exclusive Tape London venue, the party saw more A-listers than we could keep count of come out in celebration of the debut, but it was Millie Mackintosh that really stole the show.
Clad in a chic burgundy wrap dress, waist-cinching belt and cute black ankle booties, the socialite-turned-entrepeneur looked every inch the fashionista.
Meanwhile, Ella Eyre, Tanya Burr, Dougie Poynter and Rizzle Kicks also came out in support of Laura’s new venture. As if that wasn’t enough, designer Pam Hogg even turned DJ for an exclusive set on the decks.
As for the collection itself, the pieces are inspired by Laura’s love for music – which also lent itself to the launch event with guests sipping on lyric inspired cocktails including “You’re Lovely”, “The Music Saved Me” and “Real Hero”.
Speaking of the design process, Laura added: “The concept for the collection stems from my love of music. Music festivals have always been a big part of my career as well as my personal life. With the collection, I wanted to reflect this by using the shape of the plectrum, supported by inspirational quotes and lyrics. I also looked at symbols and colours that could work as charms so that this collection could be made personal to the wearer too.”
