Lagerfeld’s Girls Come Out To Play At The Chanel Cruise Show
Could we envy Karl Lagerfeld’s super-stylish posse of Chanel ambassadors any more? Not only do they have the man himself on speed dial, more Chanel clothes and accessories than you can shake a stick at, but they also get invited to the most amazing fashion shows ever.
Karl’s latest extravaganza? Showing off the Chanel Cruise Collection on the eve of the Cannes Film Festival 2011, on a sun soaked outdoor catwalk. While the collection was, as ever, drool worthy, we couldn’t take our eyes off the showcase of Chanel on the front row. Current Chanel poster gal Blake Lively sizzled in a seriously thigh-skimming mini and sequined jacket from the Spring 2008 Couture collection, cosying up to Clemence Poesy who’s lemon yellow boucle and feather creation looked good enough to eat. Laura Bailey, Alexa Chung and Poppy Delevigne provided a triple whammy of Chanel perfection, Alexa and Laura going pretty in pastel pink, and Poppy flaunting her phenomenal pins in a boucle hot pant suit.
