Kristen Stewart doesn’t beat around the bush with any topic. And in her new interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, she’s getting honest about sexism in Hollywood, her weight, and her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
The 25-year-old has never been wholly comfortable about her ‘famous’ status, regularly hiding from the paps and getting coy about her love life, so it’s no wonder she doesn’t get the whole showbiz thing.
‘Fame is the worst thing in the world,’ the Twilight star said. ‘Especially if it’s pointless. When people say, “I want to be famous” Why? You don’t do anything.’
The A-lister then went on to attack Hollywood, explaining that it’s still a very male-dominated industry. And she’s not happy about it.
‘Women inevitably have to work a little bit harder to be heard’, Kristen said. ‘Hollywood is disgustingly sexist. It’s crazy. It’s so offensive it’s crazy.’
Despite her slender, boyish frame, K-Stew also spilled that she too suffers from a bit of weight fluctuation from time to time. Phew! We love it when celebs get real.
‘I’m a little bigger than sample size when I’m eating cheeseburgers and am happy and comfortable,’ she explained, adding: ‘If I’m stressed or working, the weight falls off. My weight and my sleep are tied to my nervous system.’
‘Sometimes I’ll sleep for 12 hours a night and sometimes sleep just doesn’t exist for me for a couple of months.’ We also eat cheeseburgers when we’re happy! Who knew we had so much in common with the Hollywood starlet?

Kristen also briefly mentioned her ex, R-Patz, who is rumoured to have just got engaged to British singer FKA Twigs.
Speaking of the time when they had to do a steamy sex scene for the second Twlight film, the actress recalled: ‘On Twilight we had to do the most epic sex scene of all time. It had to be transcendent and otherworldly, inhuman, better sex than you can possibly ever imagine, and we were like, “How do we live up to that?”
‘It was agony. Which sucks, because I wanted it to be so good.’
The Still Alice star, who has done multiple campaigns for Chanel, also admitted that the fashion world can be massively intimidating, and that not all of the insiders have been kind to her. But Karl Lagerfeld has always been different.
‘Everyone I ever met from Chanel was wonderful, and working with them has been amazing.’ she said. ‘As an outsider, I thought, “He’s probably insanely pretentious”; but he’s the opposite of what you’d assume.’
‘He’s funny and quick and can talk to you about anything, from film stock to Roman fountains, or completely nail a photographer or break down a situation quite candidly.’
Aw. Looks like this is one male relationship she is not afraid to talk about.
