Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have finally announced the news we’ve all been waiting to hear.
It’s no secret that the pair have been trying for a second child, wanting to add to their family with a younger brother or sister for little North.
Last night, in true Kardashian fashion, the big reveal was announced on their family’s hit TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The 34-year-old mum shared the exciting news right at the end of Sunday’s mid-season finale on E!
In a teaser clip for the rest of the season, Kim can be seen at the doctors, being told that she’s finally expecting again after months of fertility struggles.
In an interview with E! recently, Kim revealed how the difficulties were affecting her and Kanye: “We are trying. We try every single day. You can’t try harder than we try,” she revealed. “It’s getting exhausting… But we’re literally trying everything that we can to make it happen, so I’m to the point now where it’s not as stressful to me.”
After documenting their journey on screen for the TV show, it was only natural that the big reveal would also take place on the show. And it just makes the news that little bit more special.
The excited star told her younger sister Khloe: “I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!”
Matriarch Kris Jenner took to Twitter as soon as the show aired to offer her public congratulations to the couple: “Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to meet your new little love bug!!!!! Sooooo happy for you guys!!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ #blessed #love #family #youaresobeautifulpregnant”
Kim, on the other hand, was quick to comment on the car crash scene, which also featured in last night’s show. She said: “If u only saw Northie’s reaction! As a mom I got protective and left that scary moment out of the episode for her privacy.”

She also tweeted: “As a mother this as the scariest things that could have happened w your child in the car. Khloe handled it so well!”
Looks like North West will have a new little brother or sister very soon.
Since the announcement, Twitter has gone into a frenzy about potential baby names, with ‘South West’ and ‘Wild West’ amongst the most popular suggestions.
Now let the maternity looks roll on…
