Kendall Jenner famously made her Fashion Week debut back in February by walking the Marc Jacobs runway show.
And last night, the 18-year-old returned to the MJ catwalk to model his SS15 collection alongisde Karlie Kloss and Adriana Lima, looking nearly unrecognisable in a blunt black bobbed wig and zero make-up. Wowza.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star strutted her stuff down the pink runway in front of the likes of Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Rachel Zoe wearing a heavily embellished gold shift dress and mustard coloured Birkentstock-style flats.
Besides the gorgeous collection, which had a heavy military influence and featured plenty of dark neutral hues, utilitarian tailoring and sturdy practical flats to finish off, Marc Jacobs’ star-studded show was the talk of the town because of those dowdy ‘dos.
So what’s with the wigs?
Designed by Guido Palau for Redken, the choppy black bobs with thick bangs were basically long enough to cover the models’ eyes, meaning absolutely no make-up was needed.
Make-up Francois Nars applied nothing but moisturizer to Kendall and co.’s faces, explaining: ‘I don’t like the middle of the road. I like to go extremely strong and that’s either lots of makeup or none at all’, in an interview backstage with Harper’s Bazaar.
Kendall later switched her ’60s style frock for a simple white tee, leather biker, sporty 7 For All Mankind cropped trousers and leopard print flats as she posed post-show with fellow model Gigi Hadid.
