Kendall Jenner is having one hell of a year. After a storming 12 months of catwalk shows and ad campaigns, the it-model has now landed one of her biggest beauty gigs to date.
The 19-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is the newest face of cosmetics giant Estée Lauder, and announced her happy news on Instagram.
‘I am super excited to announce that I am the new face of @esteelauder!!’ she posted alongside an edgy shot of her perched atop a motorcycle dressed in a black lace dress and a shearling leather jacket. ‘I still can’t believe it myself!’
And we can see why they chose her.
Along with the snaps, shot by acclaimed snapper Patrick Demarchelier, the beauty brand shared a short video showing the star discussing her relationship with the brand.
Kendall, with her fresher-than-fresh complexion and huge doe eyes, looks gorgeous as she gets beautifued in the make-up chair, blows kisses at the mirror and discusses her longtime love of make-up.
‘The first time I wore make-up, I was a little girl and my mom was filming me, and I’m like, “Mom, I did my make-up, do you like it?”‘ she explains.
She continues: ‘To think back to me being a young kid going through my mom’s make-up drawer, playing with Estée Lauder, and flip to now and I’m a part of this family…’
According to Vogue.com, Kendall first found out about her huge new gig backstage at the Sonia Rykiel show at Paris Fashion Week back in September. Way to go with keeping a lid on that one, lady!
Following the big reveal, big sister Khloé Kardashian took to Instagram to share a gushing message for her talented sibling.
‘I am literally jumping up-and-down with pride and joy for my baby sister!!!!! @kendalljenner is the new face of @esteelauder!!! It takes so much courage to actually go ahead and conquer your dreams. Most people just talk about what they want to do. You are actually living what you’ve dreamed you’d always do! Proud of you baby girl. @voguemagazine.
