Kendall Jenner might have won the most-liked Instagram photo of the year. But don’t think she feels totally at ease as an Instagram celebrity yet…
The 20-year-old is known for her super stylish Instagram account, that features plenty of arty shots, quirky model poses and moody black-and-white scenery snaps.
But while most would assume that Kendall applies her laid back approach to life to her social media account – she just makes it look so easy! – the model has just revealed that the truth is the opposite.
‘When you’re being looked at under such a microscope, you try to be aware of what you post’, she wrote in a new blog post on her site, entitled Staying Positive: My Outlook On Social Media.
‘You go over it a million times before posting to make sure it’s okay.’
Hang on, so all of those seemingly casual-snapped images are actually carefully planned and thought out? Could have fooled us, Kendall!
Speaking of the hate she sometimes gets underneath her pictures, she added: ‘In reality, I know it’s not a bad photo, but someone’s going to say something mean anyway. They’re just bored. You just have to remember that it’s them, not you.’
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star seems to have taught herself how to cope with having such a public social media presence.

‘I have to admit, I’ll randomly catch myself looking at comments on Instagram and Twitter, but the second I see a mean one, I literally just put my phone away and forget about it,’ she said.
The teenager said a similar thing last month, when she confessed that refuses to read any comments on her Instagram and Twitter accounts. ‘That’s why I don’t read my comments’, she wrote on her site.
‘I don’t read anything of that nature. If you put yourself in that position you’re not going to be happy.’
