Katie Holmes rocked a laid-back look this weekend at the MTV Video Music Awards, wearing an Azzedine Alaia dress with tan Proenza Schouler shoe boots to present the award for video of the year to Katy Perry.
Earlier on this year, Lucy Liu sported the same dress to a film screening in New York where she worked it with nude patent heels and a red quilted Chanel bag.
While we love Lucy’s glossy dressed-up way of wearing it, there's something quite cool about Katie’s dressed-down vibe. Especially considering at the same awards, Katy Perry donned a yellow box on her head and Lady Gaga came dressed as a man.
