Katherine Jenkins & Lana Del Rey Go Monochrome

Celebrities and fashionistas alike stepped out in serious style last night at The Royal Albert Hall in London for the annual GQ Men Of The Year Awards. Olympians Bradley Wiggins and Sir Chris Hoy rubbed shoulders with the likes of Kylie Minogue and LOOK cover star Kelly Brook in an evening that certainly didn’t disappoint in the fashion stakes…

Two of our favourite looks came from singers Lana Del Rey and Katherine Jenkins. Lana went all-out retro chic in a demure white satin, full-length gown by Austrailian designer Wayne Cooper, which she worked with tousled locks and crimson lips. Gorgeous.

Katherine opted for a cut-out creation by Brit designer Stella McCartney that showed off her killer curves to maximum impact. However, Katherine wasn’t the only guest who’d opted for a Stella McCartney design. Olympic cycling star Victoria Pendleton wore the same dress as the opera singer, but in a shorter style that she accessorised with a statement gold bar belt – a clever tweak that may have saved the pair a bit of red-carpet embarrassment…

We love all the glam looks from last night’s awards… Check out the gallery below for the best-dressed straight from the red carpet! ME
