Kate Middleton has the best excuse for putting your feet up and sitting around in the sun (er, when it chooses to turn up). You know, since she’s pregnant with the heir to the throne, and all. Especially since she has less than five weeks to go until giving birth! But busy-bee Kate Middleton’s proving herself an exception to the rule yet again, as she’s spotted, just hours after a day of heavy-duty in-law-pleasing at Westminster Abbey for the Queen’s 60th Coronation anniversary, shopping at a “high-end” interiors shop, looking for nursery furnishings!
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is expected to give birth around the 13th July, was wearing what our eagle-eyed fashion team think is a bargain Asos Maternity dress while she reportedly spent 45 minutes inside exclusive design store, Bernard Thorp & Co, in London’s fancy Chelsea district. The blue Asos Maternity frock was originally £25 and is now down to £17.50 in the Asos sale. If you’re pregnant too, and want to channel Kate Middleton’s maternity clothes style, the dress is still in stock and also comes in cream and orange – but be quick!
LOOK recently reported that Kate (pictured above, out and about in April) and Prince William were planning a move to Berkshire, to stay with Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael in their £1.5 million home, when the baby arrives, and Kate’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith seemed to confirm this last week when he said: “The fact that they’re taking the baby to Carole’s for the first six weeks is genius.” But an insider said that this particular shopping trip last Tuesday, was to help Kate find inspiration for the nursery that she’ll also have at her disposal in Kensington Palace, where she and Wills have an apartment. The 31-year-old was said to be “fascinated” by the shop and picked out two beige and brown handmade designs.
Which does not help us at all when it comes to guessing the sex.
