Chanel hosted a dinner last night in New York in honour of Vanessa Paradis, the face of Chanel’s new lipstick Rouge COCO. Chanel said Vanessa was chosen because of her “modern elegance, boldness of character and power of emotion”. Kate Bosworth showed up to support Vanessa in an amazing floral dress by Chanel, two-tone Christian Louboutin Maggie heels and a sleek top-bun. Good call on the white tights, as they give this ladylike look an interesting, quirky twist – we like! But Vanessa Paradis ensured all eyes were on her, wearing a sheer, floral patch dress from Chanel pre-fall 2010 and hot thigh-high black suede Louboutin boots.
