Our favourite sci-fi style icon, Karen Gillan stole the show at the TV Choice Awards in London last night looking effortlessly chic in a red lace dress complete with waist-cinching belt and black blazer. And have we mentioned how good her legs looked? The Doctor Who star, who collected the Best Family Drama award on behalf of the BBC1 show, gave the other British actresses a masterclass on laid-back red carpet glamour as she ditched the flesh-flashing dresses for a demure and sophisticated look. Other TV shows to pick up awards included Gavin And Stacey, Ashes To Ashes and Glee. Plus EastEnders star Lacey Turner picked up Best Soap Actress and Jack O’Connell was voted Best Actor.
