Jade Thirlwall Laughs Off Her Awkward Fashion Faux Pas

Oh no. Jade Thirlwall experienced EVERY woman’s worst nightmare on Sunday night.

The Little Mix singer, 22, joined her bandmates on The Xtra Factor in a gorgeous two-tone jumpsuit, which featured navy wide-legged bottoms and a sexy black lattice top.

She’d paired the piece with glamorous Hollywood-style waves, classic smoky eyes, nude lipstick and some expert cheekbone highlighting.

All good, right?

But unfortunately for Jade, someone else had had a very similar idea. TOWIE‘s Lauren Pope was also appearing on the show – in the same all-in-one.

Not only that, but 33-year-old Lauren had gone for a matching wavy down ‘do, smoky eyes, bronzed cheeks and natural-coloured lippy. AWKS!

The pair managed to style out the faux pax, posing together with jokily-annoyed expressions.

Lauren captioned the funny image on her Instagram page: ‘That awkward moment @jadeameliabadwi #GreatMinds #xfactor.’

And hey, at least they both looked totally gorge?!

Little Mix had performed on the first X Factor results show (to rave reviews) before chatting to Xtra Factor hosts Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom.

On the programme, they met Cheryl’s two remaining groups. 4th Impact seemed incredibly excited, and the feeling was definitely mutual.

LM later wrote alongside a Twitter snap of the bands together: ‘We absolutely ADORE these ladies. good luck on #TheXFactor xx.’ Aw.

There’s no denying that Little Mix are pretty inspirational. They started their journey on The X Factor, first auditioning as solo contestants before being put together and winning under mentor Tulisa Contostavlos.

In fact, they’re still the only band ever to triumph in the contest.

Could that all change this year? We’ll have to wait and see…
