Natalie Portman‘s new Miss Dior advert has just come out. And we’re feeling those Black Swan vibes all over again.
In the new short film, directed by Anton Corbijn, the 33-year-old is seen walking the aisle in a breathtaking Dior Couture strapless white wedding gown.
With a calf-flashing high-low hem and delicate hand-cut floral embroidery, it really is the wedding gown of dreams. But with its tulle base and structured basque, it’s also very similar to Natalie’s prima ballerina Rodarte dress from her hit 2010 movie with Mila Kunis.
The dress took more than 600 hours of work to make – but once you see what happens next, it’s good work gone to waste.
Deciding she doesn’t want to be a wife after all, Portman’s character pulls a Julia Roberts by kicking off her shoes, ditching the bouquet and slipping out of her gown (and dumping it on the floor) to reveal a short, strapless LBD underneath.
Not quite her Black Swan frock, but still a cheeky little nod to Natalie’s white-to-black swan transformation from the movie, we think. Good girl gone bad?
The Miss Dior film ends with the US beauty hopping into a dove grey Dior chopper to the theme-tune of Janis Joplin’s ‘Piece Of My Heart’, where she is met (and smooched) by a handsome co-pilot who flies her to Paris for sunset.
