How To Wear Spring's Lingerie Trend

This season’s biggest fashion trend has got us in a bit of a muddle.  Underwear as outerwear was spotted on all the hottest catwalks, from Dolce to Dior and seen on the lovely Lily Allen, Daisy Lowe and Rihanna.  Showing off your undies has never been chicer. We love this look, but really how practical is it? I mean seriously, is the local pub really ready to have us all parading around in a see-through lace playsuit – I think not!    So if like us, you don’t have a body as banging as Gisele’s, or you local bar won’t take so kindly to a spot of streaking, then have a quick read through our simple style-tips:    1. Do not under any circumstance bring out your 'Bridget Jones' style knickers – those are best kept firmly under wraps. 2. Layering is key! A pretty bra or bustier peeking out from under a shirt will look amazing. 3. If you’re brave enough to wear a pair of knickers-style-shorts a la Pixie Lott, keep it classy and team with opaque tights. 4. Remember less is more, a hint is far chicer than hitting the dance-floor in just a corset and suspenders, Lady Gaga style. 5. If you’d rather not bare all, then a vintage slip-dress teamed with a blazer will hit on the trend but hide the wobbly bits. 6. For all you trouser loving chicks - a plain black trouser suit will look super-sexy teamed with a lace cami. 7. Lace and chiffon detail will give your outfit a no fuss Boudoir twist. 8. Invest in a curve-clinging bustier style dress, it's the chicest and most effortless way to rock this trend on the high street
