H&M sure do know how to get us excited about their upcoming designer collaborations. The high street heavyweight have been slowing teasing imagery of their upcoming H&M X Kenzo collab, and this week they’ve released a pic of what’s set to be one of the collection’s hero pieces.
The folklore ribbon dress, worn by Norwegian musician Anna of the North, is set to be a sell-out.
The collection might not be dropping until November 3rd but we’re already making a mental wish list, and unsurprisingly, this dress has shot right to the top of it. Hurry up autumn!
UPDATE: It was just a moment ago, quietly eating our lunch al desko, when an email titled “Kenzo x H&M: First Looks Revealed” landed in our inbox. What followed, it’s safe to say, was enough to make anyone slam their forks down.
Behold, the very first Kenzo x H&M looks…
The leopard print, the bodysuits, the Kenzo logos… We want it all.
Bring on November 3rd.
25/5/16: H&M’s sell-out Balmain collaboration was always going to be a hard act to follow, but as the brand revealed it’s next designer hook-up just moments ago, we know it’s going to be just as killer.
Appearing in the subject line of the email that has torn through the fashion industry like wildfire were the words ‘KENZO X H&M’ and, upon reading them, our hearts skipped a beat. Current mood:
We feel you, Bill…
‘H&M is proud to announce that their next designer collaboration will be with Parisian fashion house KENZO; the vibrant and playful brand that captures the energy of global culture to achieve its unique, youthful spirit,’ the label said of its next venture.
‘Creative Directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon will bring the spirit of KENZO to H&M, creating men’s and womenswear collections, as well as a selection of accessories.’
The colour, the leopard print, the SWEATERS – we can’t even!
As per, the high street shopping haunt has given us a pretty major heads up about the collab, so you’ll have some time to kill before the KENZO x H&M collection hits over 250 stores worldwide, as well as online at www.hm.com, on 3rd November 2016. That said, it means we’ve got ample money saving time. Just sayin’, cause we guarantee you’re going to want the LOT. We don’t know about you, but we have images of mile-long cues and check-out chaos flashing before our eyes right now…
