Suki Waterhouse has been causing a bit of a stir in New York over the past few days. She whipped the paparazzi into a frenzy when she attended the opening night of boyfriend Bradley Cooper’s Broadway debut, The Elephant Man, and now she’s sent us into a bit of a spin over her dressed down, wish-we-looked-that-effortless ensemble.
Yep, we spotted Suki strolling around the Big Apple showing us exactly how vintage should be done. Nailing the silhouette of next season in her ’70s inspired flared dungarees and a statement, fur trimmed coat, the model made us want to seriously reconsider our own casual garms. Which is why, in true generous style, we’ve tracked down some high street tributes to bring some off-duty super vibes to our own rails.
The ’70s was a major influence on practically every SS15 catwalk, and we feel pretty good jumping on Suki’s bandwagon and getting in early on the trend. Rokit’s grey suede cover up is a retro winner- and channels Suki perfectly- but we also can’t get enough of French Connection’s leopard print trim.
We don’t know about you, but we’ll be spending this evening dusting off our dungarees and doing our best supermodel impression. Your weekend wardrobe will never be the same again…
