From Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield's kiss to Emma Stone's amazing win, it all went down at the Beverly Hills Hilton last night...
The annual Golden Globes ceremony kicked off in typically glitzy fashion last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Here’s what you missed..
1) La La Land won big
Emma Stone scooped her first ever Golden Globe for Best Actress in La La Land (woooop!), whilst Ryan Gosling won Best Actor for his role in the same movie. The film also took Best Musical or Comedy Motion Picture, Best Original Score and Best Screenplay. Huge.
2) Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were #couplegoals
Hollywood’s golden couple looked ravishing last night, with Blake in a black cut-out Atelier Versace gown and Ryan looking dapper in a tux. People also thought Ryan may have had a spray tan. LOLs.
3) Meryl Streep went IN on Donald Trump
The Hollywood veteran used her Golden Globes acceptance speech to publicly slam president-elect Donald Trump, calling him a ‘bully’ as she recalled the time he mocked a disabled reporter. And Twitter totally loved her for it.
4) Andrew Garfield and Ryan Reynolds snogged
Yep, Spiderman and Deadpool got it on at their table whilst a baffled Blake Lively wondered what the hell was happening. More on that here.

5) Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn brought all the LOLs
From the moment the hilarious duo stepped on stage to present Ryan Gosling with his Best Actor award, it was non-stop giggles. Goldie had forgotten her glasses and couldn’t read the teleprompter, ending her introduction by referring to the nominees as ‘five most tainted [talented] men’, whilst Amy repeatedly rinsed her for it. Gold.
6) Ryan Gosling’s speech about wife Eva Mendes was Notebook-worthy
“I just would like to try and thank one person properly, and say that while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one the best experiences I’ve ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer. If she hadn’t taken all that on so that I could have this experience, would surely be someone else up here other than me to today. Sweetheart, thank you.”
We just can’t.
