Yep, after sending the front row into a frenzy, the French label’s ballerina block heels with a ruched elastic front that sucks to your foot like – you guessed it, a glove – soon adorned the feet of every fearless fashionista worth noting, becoming the most iconic buy of the season. Seriously, we’ve lost count of how many stylish ladies have added them to their shoe-drobes.
Unable to get our hands on a pair of our own – the designer originals command a very high price tag – we’ve been waiting patiently for the high street to serve up its own homage. Ahead-of-the-curve trend hotspot Uterque paid tribute first, and now, we’re spoilt for choice with affordable glove offerings! From Zara’s chic white numbers to Office’s metallic beauties, we’ve finally been able to see what all the fuss is about for ourselves. Read: comfort and off-the-scale style points. Topshop’s much-Instagrammed Juno style were an instant sell-out, but fear not, they’ve now been restocked in a whole rainbow of colours, from classic black to popping red and glossy gold. It goes without saying that every step will earn you countless double-takes (good and bad) but who can argue with the fact that they’re super wearable and have a heel you can actually run around all day in?

As for what to wear them with, for street style inspired outfit kudos, it’s all about this season’s must-have yoke blouse and a pair of light-wash mom jeans. For something a little more polished, try them with a bold, geo print midi dress, or for the office, think a cool, cropped tailored trouser suit.
