Get Down Or Log On To Selfridges’ Oxfam Curiosity Shop

A sequin dress and an Alice Temperley gown from the Oxfam Curiosity Shop

Last year’s Oxfam Curiosity Shop at Selfridges was a roaring success, raising an amazing £250,000, so we weren’t surprised to hear the two had hooked up again for 2011. On Friday, Selfridges’ cool Ultralounge will once more be transformed into the Oxfam Curiosity Shop, bursting with vintage, designer and celebrity-donated pieces for you to get your hands on, with all money going to Oxfam’s women’s projects across the world.

So what goodies can you expect to find during the 10-day event? How about Kate Moss’ 30th birthday frock, Beverley Knight’s Jimmy Choos or some of VV Brown’s killer Ashish collection. Or maybe a leopard-print Mulberry Alexa is more up your street. As well as all that lot, there will be daily styling sessions and fashion classes from celebs and industry insiders, as well as VIP appearances and competitions – we’re tempted to move in! If you don’t live in London, fear not, you can also bid for these amazing items online at Selfridges.com. Everyone's a winner. GG
