At LOOK we’re lucky enough to preview the high street’s hottest collections way before they hit stores, which means we’ve already started on our spring/summer 2010 wish lists – even if it is only September. Last Thursday, we popped along to the Ben De Lisi for Principles spring/ssummer 2011 preview at the gorgeous Haymarket Hotel, where we were treated to tea, cupcakes and champagne as we watched the models sashay down the runway. Ben described the collection as being for the ‘Upper East Side girl about to take a trip to the Hamptons’. And with chic printed shifts, flowing maxis in popping coral and ocean blue and embellished prom-girl frocks, we couldn’t help but think of Charlotte from Sex And The City – and you don’t get more Upper East Side than that! Sadly, you’ll have to wait till February for the collection to hit Debenhams, but it’s always good to be prepared, right? SR
