Fast-Food Fashion Goes Huge!

Fast-food fashion is perhaps one of the most surprising things to have emerged from SS14’s fashion month. As a troop of Moschino models paraded down the catwalk in Jeremy Scott’s McDonald’s-inspired designs, a similar-sized troop of bloggers and street stylers were clamouring to get their hands on the kitsch red and yellow bags and the new iPhone fries.

With Katy Perry and Anna Dello Russo both rocking head-to-toe ‘McMoschino’ chic, high-street homages have been popping up at Asos and Wolf & Badger in fun phone accessories and gold burger necklaces. And who could forget Ashish’s sequined Coca-Cola vests teamed with glitzy shopping bags? Uniqlo are channelling the look with retro Coke tees, plus variations dedicated to Fanta and Sprite.

From socks to hair accessories, you can wear your own piece of foodie fashion in just about any way you want. Our advice? Keep it simple, and don’t overdo the novelty accessories. A hotdog can only be so chic for so long…
