Spring is finally here (have you seen how sunny it is?!) so that means it’s time to give our wardrobes a new season update. From maxi florals and tailored pastels to everything oriental, here’s the 2015 fashion trends you need in your life.
1. Maxi Florals
Bold, bright and worn head to toe, this is the new way to do blooms. Take inspiration from DVF’s high fashion flower power and embrace everything from Oriental prints to traditional English roses. Get the look with Reiss’s monochrome floral trousers and pair with New Look’s printed platforms for maximum impact.
Forget the flouncy dresses and think tan and suede a la Etro and Emilio Pucci, for a vintage look. A little bit of fringing goes a long way with this one, just add Topshop’s printed flares or a high-necked flower power dress for a totally groovy look.
3. Horizontal Stripes
Escape to the riviera, Jasper Conran style, with bold stripes in candy colours. It’s the new take on nautical and we can’t get enough. Look for loose fitting dresses like this one from Mango or waist-cinching pencil skirts like Zara’s for an effortless and flattering take on the trend.
4. Oriental Chic
Nail the Eastern vibe with kimono-style robes, Alexander Mcqueen inspired blossom prints and chunky sandals. Go for full-on Geisha with Ted Baker’s lily-print dress and Topshop’s origami-esque heels.
5. Pastel Tailoring
Sugary separates were the order of the day at DSquared2 and Temperley London, giving smart pieces a much-needed Spring lift. Nail the trend with River Island’s lilac blazer and get office ready with New Look’s strappy ice blue heels.

6. Relaxed Mono Stripes
Switch up the classic horizontal Breton for vertical black and white stripes on slouchy shirts, strides and accessories. It’s the simplest way to make a statement this season. Nod to the trend with Dorothy Perkin’s snakeskin stripe bag or go head-to-toe in New Look’s super chic shirt dress.
